SUMMARY TRANSLATION OF THE REGISTER ENTRY (translated from Russian into English, except names translated into modern Lithuanian) [by Robert Normant; Dec 2016]:

Peasant of Alsėdžiai district Jonas Narmontas, bachelor, age 33, from the village Užgiriai of Telšiai parish, the son of peasants Kazimieras Narmontas and his wife Agota née Mažeikaitė; and townswoman [burgher] of Telšiai council Paulina Gudavičiūtė, maiden, age 30, from "Dilbiškiai" [Dilbė?] of Žarėnai parish, the daughter of townspeople [burghers] Julijonas Gudavičius and his wife Eufrozina née Vaitkevičiūtė; were married on February 11, 1879 in Žarėnai Roman Catholic church. The priest was Rev. Baltramiejus Lorentas, pastor of that church. The witnesses were peasants Antanas Narmontas, Benediktas Eidintas and Liudvikas Jokšas.​

[Ксендзъ] Варфоломей Ларентъ по троекратномъ оглашеніи при народнотъ собраній а именно: 2го, 4 го и 11 го числъ мѣсяца Февраля произведенномъ.
Column 4:  Крестьянина Ольсядской волости Яна Нармонта холостаго 33 лѣтъ изъ деревни Ужгири Тельшевскаго прихода съ Мѣщанкою Тельшевской Думы Паулиною Гудовичевною дѣвицею 30 лѣтъ изъ Дыльбишекъ Жоранскаго прихода по учиненіи предварительно надлежащаго розысканія и по неоткрытіи никакихъ препятствіи къ бракосочетанію, равно по добровольно изъявленному къ тому отъ обѣихъ сихъ взаимному согласію.

Column 2:  11 [married on the 11th day of this month].
Column 3:  [on] the eleventh day of February of the one thousand eight hundred seventy-ninth year (Тысяча восемсотъ семдесятъ девятого года Февраля один[н]адцатого дня), in Žarėnai Roman Catholic parish church (въ Жоранскомъ Р. К. приходскомъ Костелѣ), pastor of that [church] Rev. Baltramiejus Lorentas (Настоятель онаго Кс. Варфоломей Ларентъ), after three readings of the banns done before the assembled people (по троекратномъ оглашеніи при народнотъ собраній ... произведенномъ) namely [on] the 2nd , 4th and 11th dates of the month of February (а именно: 2го, 4 го и 11 го числъ мѣсяца Февраля).
Column 4:  Peasant of Alsėdžiai district Jonas Narmontas (Крестьянина Ольсядской волости Яна Нармонта), bachelor (холостаго), 33 years (33 лѣтъ), from the village Užgiriai of Telšiai parish (изъ деревни Ужгири Тельшевскаго прихода), with townsperson of Telšiai council Paulina Gudavičiūtė (съ Мѣщанкою Тельшевской Думы Паулиною Гудовичевною), maiden (дѣвицею), 30 years (30 лѣтъ), from Dilbiškiai of Žarėnai parish (изъ Дыльбишекъ Жоранскаго прихода), after making the preliminary required examination (по учиненіи предварительно надлежащаго розысканія) and after failing to find any impediments to marriage (и по неоткрытіи никакихъ препятствіи къ бракосочетанію) as well as after voluntarily expressed mutual consent (равно по добровольно изъявленному къ тому … взаимному согласію) of both these [persons] (отъ обѣихъ сихъ).

NOTES:
1.    Register entry references, transcription, translation, and these Notes are by Robert Normant, grandson of Julius Normant [a.k.a. Julijonas Narmontas].
2.    Identities; Groom and Bride.  The groom in this marriage register entry is my great-grandfather Jonas Narmontas, and the bride is my great-grandmother Paulina Gudavičiūtė (family name "Gudavičius").
3.    Identities; Groom's Parents.  The groom's parents in this marriage register entry are my great-great-grandparents Kazimieras Narmontas and Agota Mažeikaitė (family name "Mažeika").
4.    Identities; Bride's Parents.  The bride's parents in this marriage register entry are my great-great-grandparents Julijonas Gudavičius and Eufrozina Vaitkevičiūtė (family name "Vaitkevičius").
5.    I have not yet found the village of “Dilbiškiai” on any map of the Žarėnai area.  I think that "Dilbiškiai" was probably the same place as the "Dilbė" shown on present-day maps 4 km NE of Žarėnai.

T2.     Although the researcher's photocopy of the original record at LVIA has the surname of a witness obscured by the cord that held the pages together, the researcher provided a translation of the surname as "Eidintas".
