The index appears to be complete, and it appears to go through year 1959. For years 1921-1925, this provides an index to the register page on which the baptism entry for the named person will be found.  For years 1926-1959, this is equivalent to a year-by-year listing of persons baptized at All Saints church.

About the Format of Register Pages in All Saints Baptism Register, 1921-1925

These pages contain the actual entries about the baptisms that took place in the parish. Refer to the image below, which is an image of register page 1.  The format of this register page is typical of all register pages in this baptism register, except that the page number of an even-numbered page is located in the upper left corner.

The title portion of each register page has titles for the 3 columns on the page:
  • first column: Nomen Familiae (Family Name):  It was the intent of the register book designer that the family name of the baptized person be entered in this column; however, in this particular parish register, the column was used for the purpose of entering sequential entry numbers.
  • second column: Registrum Baptizatorum. (Register of Baptisms [Baptism Register]). This is the column in which the baptism entry was actually made.
  • third column: Registrum Matrimoniorum. (Register of Marriages [Marriage Register]).  This column was not filled out at time of baptism; it was intended as the place to enter the details about the date and place of the later marriage of the baptized person.
